Legal Terms & Planning Disclaimers

Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using PaverPlan. By accessing or using our calculation tools and content, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Effective date: March 2026

01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website paverplan.com (“PaverPlan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including all interactive calculators, guides, formulas, references, and related tools.

By accessing, browsing, or utilizing any portion of PaverPlan, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, your sole recourse is to discontinue using the platform.

02Informational & Planning Use Only

PaverPlan is an independent informational and preliminary planning utility. All formulas, volumetric converters, layer depth estimators, material takeoffs, and cost models are provided strictly for educational, illustrative, and preliminary estimation purposes.

Nothing on PaverPlan should be construed as an official construction bid, architectural blueprint, structural guarantee, commercial purchase agreement, or final procurement order.

03No Engineering, Contractor, Legal, or Professional Advice

PaverPlan is not a licensed professional engineering firm, geotechnical laboratory, landscape architecture practice, licensed general contractor, or legal consultancy.

Use of our calculators or guides does not establish an engineer-client, contractor-client, or advisory relationship. Construction standards referenced on this website—such as ASTM International specifications or Concrete Masonry & Hardscapes Association (CMHA) technical guidelines—are cited as industry baselines and do not replace project-specific engineering analysis by a licensed professional.

Crucial Safety & Legal Notice: Always call 811 (or your local utility location service) before digging. Consult local building officials, municipal zoning codes, and certified hardscape contractors for projects involving steep slopes, vehicular traffic, retaining walls exceeding height thresholds, poor soil conditions, or critical site drainage.

04User Responsibility for Measurements & Decisions

You are exclusively responsible for:

  • Verifying all physical field measurements, property lines, setbacks, utility easements, and site boundaries.
  • Reviewing manufacturer-specific technical data sheets (TDS) for the exact pavers, sands, bases, and edging products you purchase.
  • Determining appropriate project allowances for cuts, breakage, pattern waste, and base compaction based on actual site conditions.
  • Adhering to municipal zoning laws, permitting requirements, HOA guidelines, and local environmental runoff regulations.
  • All purchasing decisions, contractor hiring, material procurement, site preparation, and physical labor.

05Calculator Estimates & Limitations

Calculations performed on PaverPlan rely on user inputs, standard geometric approximations, and baseline material densities (e.g., standard aggregate weights, loose sand density conversion factors, and typical pallet packaging sizes).

Real-world construction conditions inevitably vary. Differences in subgrade soil bearing capacity, moisture content, compaction equipment tonnage, supplier packaging metrics, aggregate quarry density, and installation technique will affect the actual volume and weight of materials required. PaverPlan makes no warranty that calculation results will match supplier invoices or job-site yields with absolute precision.

06Third-Party & Manufacturer Information

Any references to third-party manufacturers, specific product lines, brand names, or retail suppliers are provided solely for identification, context, and educational convenience.

Unless explicitly stated, PaverPlan is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any paver manufacturer, aggregate quarry, polymeric sand producer, or tool supplier. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names mentioned belong to their respective owners.

07External Links

PaverPlan may contain links to external websites, standards organizations (such as ASTM International or CMHA), or third-party resources. We do not operate, control, or monitor external sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, practices, or availability. Accessing external links is undertaken at your own risk.

08Intellectual Property

All original content on PaverPlan—including custom software algorithms, user interface designs, mathematical breakdowns, written guides, graphics, logos, and site architecture—is the property of PaverPlan and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may use our calculators and download or print calculation summaries for your personal or internal business planning. You may not scrape, reproduce, redistribute, republish, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any software, code, or proprietary content from PaverPlan without prior written permission.

09Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PaverPlan and its creators, contributors, and operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, this website or its calculation tools.

This limitation applies to, but is not limited to: material shortages or overages, project delays, contractor disputes, structural failures, installation defects, property damage, personal injury, equipment rental expenses, lost profits, or any other financial or physical loss incurred in connection with hardscape construction activities.

PaverPlan is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10Availability & Service Modifications

We strive to maintain continuous uptime and accurate calculation tools. However, we reserve the right to modify, suspend, update, or discontinue any feature, calculator, guide, or portion of PaverPlan at any time without prior notice or liability.

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect updates to our calculators, industry practices, or applicable requirements. Continued use of PaverPlan after any changes constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms.

11Governing Terms & Severability

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PaverPlan regarding your access to and use of the platform. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable by an authority of competent jurisdiction, that specific provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
